While it seems most MCs claim they were writing rhymes in the womb, Liberty Heights native LOS confesses that he “got into music late.” Until he was 18, LOS' primary passion was basketball. But the murder of his father, a basketball coach at a high school LOS had planned on transferring to, led the teenager to another school—and down another career path. “That's where I found music, because every day at lunch, dudes would be spittin', freestylin', battlin',” he says.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is planning a Bad Boy invasion this summer with his imprint releasing six new albums before the end of the year.
Yung Joc will kick things off with his sophomore album, Hustlenomics, which is slated to hits shelves on July 31. The set’s first single, “Coffee Shop”, which features Gorilla Zoe is already getting rotation on major radio stations.

Diddy’s new stuff ranged from his next Press Play single – the Mario Winans-assisted “Through the Pain” – to the first single from Yung Joc’s forthcoming sophomore set to a sneak-peek clip of the upcoming season of MTV’s “Making the Band 4”.

Harlem’s legendary basketball tournament the “Kingdome Classic,” boasting basketball teams comprised of street hoop stars and NBA athletes, will kick off next month.
The event, which was founded in 1985 and rejuvenated in 2004 by Harlem native Damon Dash, attracts up to 5000 people and is free of charge.
