Danity Kane returns Sunday for makeup Headliners show

Danity Kane's limo driver should be especially careful in Toledo on Sunday.

The group, the brainchild of Sean “Diddy” Combs' MTV series Making the Band 3, is playing Headliners Sunday after canceling an Oct. 12 show because the band's limousine collided with another car in Toledo.

Three of the five band members suffered minor injuries in the accident at Collingwood Boulevard and Cherry Street. The limo driver was cited for a stop-sign violation.

The group's debut CD, “Danity Kane,” peaked at No. 1 when it was released in August and is now the No. 16 disc in Billboard's Top 200. The single “Show Stopper” is in regular rotation on Top 40 radio.

Danity Kane performs Sunday in Headliners, 4500 North Detroit Ave. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. The Oct. 12 tickets will be honored. Tickets are on sale at Culture Clash, RamaLama Records, Freon Beats, Rocket Liquor Store, and Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, or 419-474-1333. Information: 419-693-5300 or 248-252-3027.
