Diddy to party with Sir Alex

Diddy has invited Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson to party with him.

They formed an unlikely friendship when Diddy met the United squad before a Champions League tie in October.

Fergie, 65, presented Diddy, 37, with a United shirt and told him he was a FAN of his music.

Diddy now wants to meet up again when he plays the MEN arena in Manchester on March 29.

The star's spokesman said: “Diddy is friends with Sir Alex and the players.”

After meeting Fergie, Diddy said he was impressed with his knowledge of hip hop.

But the star showed his lack of football knowledge when he said: “There are two professional teams from London — Manchester United and Chelsea and they are both awesome.”

However, Frank Sinatra fan Sir Alex hit out at Diddy's music just weeks ago.

Fergie had a bust-up with his star defender Rio Ferdinand for playing Diddy tunes in the dressing room and said: “It's just a mumbo-jumbo of nonsense.”
