Shyne Po is often compared to sounding alike to The Notorious B.I.G. yet those who listen to him properly will instantly be able to tell the difference. Representing the more street side of Bad Boy he joined in 1999 and featured on Forever, Double Up and Public Enemy (remix). He gained street credentials and his lead single ‘Bad Boyz' got his name out there and became a street anthem. This single along with ‘Whoa!' by Black Rob put Bad Boy on the map.

Unfortunately disaster struck as early in 2001 Shyne was sentenced to 10 years in prison because of the night club incident. Despite appeals he remains in prison to date and has severed all ties with Bad Boy. He has recently resurrected his career from the sell conjuring up a deal with Def Jam worth $10 million and has recently released a new album: Godfather Buried alive as well as earning a sub-label with them name Gangland records.
